Which privacy policy covers what.
CodeShift Keyboard and CodeShift Terminal are separate apps and handle different data, so each has its own document. The full texts are kept at their original addresses. This page only points you to the right one.
The documents
| Document | Covers | Address |
|---|---|---|
| Keyboard privacy policy | CodeShift Keyboard | codeshift.mygig.life/privacy |
| Terminal privacy policy | CodeShift Terminal | codeshift.mygig.life/terminal/privacy |
| Keyboard terms of use | CodeShift Keyboard | codeshift.mygig.life/terms |
There is not yet a separate terms of use document for CodeShift Terminal. The keyboard terms do not cover it.
In short
- The keyboard has no internet permission, no ads, no analytics and no account. Learning, pins and clipboard history stay on the phone.
- The terminal collects no data. It connects only to the servers you add, and keeps hosts, passwords and keys encrypted on the phone.
- This website sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. It is hosted on GitHub Pages, which keeps its own server logs.
The policies are the authority. If anything here differs from them, the policies apply.
